8 areas of Sustainable Impact

Sustainable Development Goals

At Neovita, our vision is to deliver Net Zero Living by 2030. However, sustainability and transparency are much more than just goals for us and our partners—they are core principles that guide everything we do. Together, we confront challenges and climate risks that are far larger than any one of us.

Our mission is to transform science and innovation into actionable solutions, impacting eight global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

On June 1st, 2024, marking the start of what is predicted to be the most intense hurricane season in history, we proudly launched our website and made public our initial sustainability targets.

These goals are designed to drive our efforts and provide transparency.

Join us at Neovita in revolutionizing sustainable living. See below for more information, our goals, and to track our progress.

The power of giving back to communities

At Neovita we give back 10% of our profits to providing homes for people in underserved communities.

Our goal is to donate 2 houses in 2024, 4 houses in 2025, 8 houses in 2026, and subsequently be able to donate 1 house per month.

GOAL:

Status counter:

#homes donated in 2024

Neovita simplifies construction and empowers communities by providing local employment and training. We avoid robotic automation to keep jobs local and promote sustainable tourism with off-grid, eco-friendly options that blend with natural surroundings, offering unique travel experiences.

The power of giving back to communities

Grow local trained workforce (Basic construction training) to 1000 persons by 2030 via distribution network and local owners.

GOAL:

#of trained local labor 12 of target 60 in 2024

Eco-tourism promotion: target and deliver 300 eco-friendly units for tourism-based locations by end of 2028.

GOAL:

Status counter:

#of eco-tourism units delivered.

NetZero Living

US homes average 60-92 tons of CO2 in construction materials. To build sustainable communities, we must innovate materials and building systems to reduce carbon emissions and energy consumption, enhancing cost-effectiveness and sustainability.

GOAL:

Deliver net zero living options by 2030. Deliver MCE and OCE improvements against traditional construction baselines, along with providing renewable energy and water integration.

Status:

MCE & OCE improvement (LCA pending)

Circular Economy

At Neovita we believe in promoting a Circular Economy to extract untapped value from existing materials by reducing, reusing and recycling.

Reduce impact on the environment by eliminating concrete slabs and delivering.

Adaptability

Born on the Gulf Coast, Neovita creates resilient, attractive infrastructure to withstand harsh conditions, ensuring safe, comfortable, and sustainable living amidst climate change.

GOAL:

Improve materials and construction design to withstand up to 180 mph winds impact, by end of 2026.

Latest design certified to 165mph.

Status:

Climate action

Plastic waste pollutes rivers, beaches, and oceans, creating garbage patches. Reusing one ton of plastic reduces water pollution and saves 130 million KJ of energy. Join us in fighting plastic pollution.

Obtain Recycled Content Certification by end 2025 and ISO 14021cretification by 2028 for the post-consumer recycle plastic content in our composite material design.

GOAL:

37% recycled plastic confirmed. RRC in progress. ISO 9000 in progress, ISO 14000 not yet started.

Status:

Reused Materials

Eliminate the use of virgin wood materials in our construction, so every Neovita home built instead of an alternative saves an equivalent in trees preserved for our future.

Eliminate the use of all virgin wood by end of 2025.

GOAL:

In negotiations with recycled wood, mass timber and cardboard suppliers. Added options to replace traditional ply with recycled and reused materials for no virgin wood construction

Status:

Reused Materials

Partner with NGOs and Municipalities on the front line of climate impact to have Neovita homes in 10 countries on the frontlines.

Sustainable Suppliers:

Eliminate the use of all virgin wood by end of 2025.
